I have been looking for ages for the great old tried and true
Lavender Bathing Salts. If your like me you'll remember as a kid Mum putting the bath salts in the bath to soften the water.
Thank god they came up with some great ones today that not only smell great, but are so calming and relaxing too.
I have added the Pure French Lavender Essential Oil; here because it is one oil that is 100% natural with no artificial fragrances. Is rich in calcium, has a natural detoxifying agent, rich in calcium, potassium and magnesium. Have put in the product description below for you.
I have spoken about Lavender in an earlier post so thought time to show you a product to use. I actually find this one by searches for a gift for my Mum who is having a knee operation soon and thought she could do with some relaxing.
To use this as a great bathing ritual in your daily life, they say it's best to close the door when adding 2-3 ounces of bath salts to running water. The reason for this is to keep the beautiful aroma of the lavender in the room. Let it stay in the steam to help relax and calm you.
So turn on that lovely relaxing music step into your bath and soak all the worries of life away...
Enjoy

Bathing Remedies Can be an Art
I've been looking through my little book of Bathing Tips, can tell you it's getting a bit tatty, shows I use it a lot and regularly. My grandma plus my Mum have added to it over the years.
I went looking for the remedy that I feel most of us woman today need every now and than. Sometimes PMS can really get on top of us. There is a real connection between the Art of Bathing and relieving stress we could do without. A lot of you will have your little rituals that relieve PMS for you. I believe half the time if your living with others, they're the ones that could do with a few Bathing Tips (sorry guys only joking!!).
There are a couple of different Aromatherapy Essences that I use. There are many others too, it's just finding the one that suits you.
Jasmine.
Which is my favorite.
Try putting just a few drops into your Bath. Set the mood with lovely soft music, turn off the cell phone, unhook the other phones. It's all part of the Art of Bathing. Do it right and you'll feel wonderful.
With Jasmine you can instantly feel a lift in your spirits. The oil has a Exotic Aroma to it, you can even feel the warmth of this oil so sensuous. Very balancing for the mind. Just let it take over your senses and feel the pms stress wash away. One extra bonus is it's very good for our lovely stretch marks.
It is even used as an Aphrodisiac. After Rose, Jasmine is one of the most expensive oils to produce so hey it must be good for you.
Rose Otto. Is another favorite of mine and my Mums number one. Again only need a few drops.
Bathing in Rose Otto installs a feeling of Happiness and Contentment. Very calming and also very Sensual. Something we don't feel at this time. It's another oil that has been used for many years to the relieve PMS pains.
Again set the mood and let it wash over you.
Enjoy..
Let me Know some of yours..

Another Bathing Remedy
Lazy hot days in the sun can leave some of us fair skinned beauties a little bit burned. Well those at the moment that are lucky enough to get out in the sun.
There is nothing nicer than coming home to a lovely soothing bath.
But first need to prepare the bath and yourself too.
When we were kids my grandmother would always make us stand under the shower before allowing us to jump in the bath. Your skin burning from a day being in the salt sea water and burnt from the intense sun, and yes back then no sunscreen like today. We used to think she was mean. Funny how we change our way of thinking as we too get older and dear I say wiser.
Well getting back to what you need to do. And Yes you do need to have that cool shower first. What I learnt as I got older, your pores are opened up a lot by the heat of the sun, so need to close them a little before soaking in a warm oiled filled bath. Makes sense when you know that.
The best oils to use to take the bite or sting out of sun burnt, sun stressed skin are;
Simply 5 drops of Lavender Oil, for those that don't like Lavender you can use Camomile oil, just as good.
Be careful hopping into any bath with oil in it, as it can be slippery.
Don't make the bath to hot, as your skin will sweat and so won't be as soothing and enjoyable as it should be.
Once you feel your skin has rejuvenated and time to get out, soothe your skin even more by smoothing it in calming Aloe Vera Gel.
Also drink lots of water as sun can dehydrate the skin.
Have fun in the Sun but do take the sunscreen. And remember these are just remedies I have grown up with.
Enjoy :-)

How Many Bath Remedies Do You Know ?
A good soak in the bath can do wonders for so many aliments. I love a good soak when my back gives me hell. Great for Chilblains, Swollen Ankles, Aching Feet, Sunburn, Prickly Heat, Colds, Bad Circulation, Migraines; The list could go on and on. But what to do for each one. Not just soaking in the bath, but it's what you put in it that makes the difference. Also some ideas are not just for the bath, it can just be part of helping the condition .
And please these are only what I have picked up, and what has been passed down to me. The good old remedies are sometimes the best.
Migraines:
Make up a jar of this ready to help ease those awful migraines.
Try two drops marjoram, four drops of Lavender and two drops of Rosemary oils.Make up with 60ml Jojoba oil. A good dark jar is best or just store in a dark place.
When you feel migraine coming on, as we get to know our symptoms, we know to get to it as soon as possible, so have that jar ready. Just put a small amount (don't need to much, depends on size of bath) 2 to 5ml, add to warm not to hot water. Be careful getting into any bath with oil in it, can be slippery.
Relax in bath with flannel soaked in the bath oils, put on your forehead, also if you have one a neck pillow. I can wet mine which is great as can soak that in the bath oil too and put around neck. Try to relax as much as you can, breathing in the lovely smells of lavender and rose. A eye mask made from Lavender put on your eyes while soaking can be a great help too.
Picture yourself on a beautiful island with glass like blue seas , lay in the surf and let the water wash away the pain.

Will list some more remedies soon. Please feel free too leave some of your remedies too, would love to hear from you. Enjoy....
